Do you like comfy little books? Well I would most certainly recommend "The Hobbit"! Not only is this book a classic but, it has a variety of both charming cast and whimsical world building. Not only does this story revolve around action and adventure but it delves into trust as well as companionship. As you read you are able to truly see connections grow, bridges burn as this group of dwarves go on a journey to reclaim their homeland. Many may say that this book isn't the best as the continuation "Lord of the rings" But, I would argue that it's meant to be more comforting and realistic! The emphasis of small actions and build up to these later series is what makes this book so special! This book truly makes you fall in love with the characters, allowing for moments of both loss and hope to make you sit at the edge of your seat.
p.s: Not to mention, there are movies you can watch after!
